Emirates Council for Balanced Development, Ministry of Culture launch initiatives to support creators, artisans

ABU DHABI, 26th May, 2025 (WAM) -- In the presence of H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Development and Fallen Heroes’ Affairs and Chairman of the Emirates Council for Balanced Development, the Emirates Council for Balanced Development, in partnership with the Ministry of Culture, announced the launch of a series of cultural and creative initiatives and programmes to support and empower creators and artisans.

The initiatives also aim to enhance cultural tourism across various regions and villages of the country.

The announcement was made during the fourth edition of the “Make it in the Emirates” forum, held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre recently.

The package includes support for 20 projects under the National Programme for Culture and Creativity Grants, the training and preparation of 26 cultural and creativity ambassadors, the development of a marketplace for creators and artisans, the implementation of virtual cultural experiences, and the preparation and design of the “Explore Emirati Culture” guide aimed at enriching the experience of tourists arriving through airports and border crossings across the UAE.
