TRENDS participates in Emirates Agriculture Conference & Exhibition 2025

ABU DHABI, 29th May, 2025 (WAM) -- TRENDS Research & Advisory started its official participation in the Emirates Agriculture Conference & Exhibition 2025, which kicked off yesterday at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC) in Al Ain.

The event brings together leading government entities, private sector organisations, universities, research institutions, sustainable agriculture, and agri-tech experts. The Ministry of Climate Change and Environment organises the event until 31st May.

As the official research partner of the event, TRENDS showcases a knowledge pavilion featuring a collection of specialised research and studies on agriculture and sustainability.

The pavilion also includes a podcast studio and innovative interactive technologies designed to promote knowledge and offer solutions that support food security and the sustainable management of natural resources.

Dr. Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ali, CEO of TRENDS Research & Advisory, emphasised that TRENDS’ participation as a research partner reflects its deep commitment to advancing strategic approaches in smart agriculture and sustainability. He noted that TRENDS focuses on translating scientific research into practical tools to develop this vital sector and strengthen resilience to food security challenges and climate change.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, TRENDS’ Al Ain office held its first official meeting. During this meeting, TRENDS presented its plans and explored ways to enhance its role in promoting knowledge sustainability and empowering young talent in research and innovation.

The meeting marked a foundational step in expanding the centre’s presence in Al Ain, leveraging the city’s strategic location to support research in agriculture, environmental studies, and other key fields.

Warda Al-Menhali, Director of TRENDS’ Al Ain office, stated that launching the office’s activities from this significant event represents a strong start in strengthening its role in supporting community-based research and knowledge initiatives. She added that TRENDS aims to build an interactive platform that empowers young researchers and fosters a nurturing scientific research and innovation environment.

She noted that the inaugural meeting outlined the strategic framework and implementation plans for the coming period, focusing on projects supporting sustainable development, innovation, and technology.
