Abu Dhabi slaughterhouses ready to serve public during Eid Al-Adha

Abu Dhabi, 4th June, 2025 (WAM) -- The Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by Abu Dhabi City Municipality, affirmed its full readiness to provide slaughterhouse services during Eid Al-Adha through four facilities located across the city and its outskirts.

These slaughterhouses will operate daily from 6:00 am to 5:30 pm, within a system focused on public health, service quality, and customer convenience.

Abu Dhabi Automated Slaughterhouse in Mina Zayed has been designated for handling slaughtered animals from the Emirates Red Crescent and smart application orders. Baniyas and Al Wathba Automated Slaughterhouses are assigned to serve the public directly, while Shahama Automated Slaughterhouse is designated to serve both walk-in customers and smart application users.

The Municipality also offers flexible alternatives, allowing the public to process their sacrificial animals conveniently either in person or through smart applications such as Zabehaty, Zabayeh Al Jazeera, Dhabayeh UAE, and Halal Mazarina, which enable users to select the type of meat and request delivery in a comfortable and secure manner.

Abu Dhabi City Municipality is committed to implementing the highest health standards across all slaughterhouses, under the supervision of specialised veterinary teams, to ensure the provision of safe, consumable meat—reflecting its dedication to public health and wellbeing.
