ADJD schedules virtual communication for inmates during Eid Al Adha

ABU DHABI, 4th June, 2025 (WAM) -- The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) has approved the schedule for virtual communication sessions between inmates at Al Wathba and Al Ain correctional and rehabilitation centres and their families during the Eid Al Adha holiday.

This initiative aims to strengthen family ties and support a rehabilitative environment that respects humanitarian and social values.

The sessions will take place from 5th to 8th June during morning hours from 8:00 pm to 1:00 pm.

The communication will be conducted via the smart application "Nafidhati", which enables inmates to connect with their families remotely through designated police station equipped with advanced technology.

To facilitate the process for families, appointment bookings can be made electronically around the clock through digital platforms, including the Abu Dhabi Government Services portal “TAMM” (https://www.tamm.abudhabi/ar-ae), or via (www.adpolice.gov.ae).

Upon approval, a text message will be sent confirming the appointment details and the designated police station for the video call, ensuring the process is organised and streamlined.
