5-magnitude earthquake strikes south of Fiji Islands

SUVA, 11th May, 2026 (WAM) -- A 5-magnitude earthquake struck the area south of the Fiji Islands today.

The German Research Centre for Geosciences said the earthquake was centred at latitude 23.46 degrees south and longitude 179.62 degrees west.
