SAN SALVADOR, 13th August, 2026 (WAM) -- A magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck off the coast of El Salvador, with no immediate reports of casualties or material damage. The tremor was felt by residents of the capital.
The US Geological Survey said the earthquake occurred at a depth of 56.8 kilometres.
