BEIJING, 28th August, 2026 (WAM) -- Typhoon Saudel made landfall in Taizhou, in China's eastern Zhejiang province, at 8.05 am (0005 GMT), the national forecaster said on Friday.
Authorities have issued a red alert for the typhoon, which they expect to lash Zhejiang and neighbouring Fujian province with heavy rainfall.
