DUBAI, 1st September, 2026 (WAM) -- As part of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority's commitment to supporting its employees' children and promoting initiatives that develop their skills and make meaningful use of their time, the Authority organised the " Dubai.it-Youth Program”, coinciding with preparations for the start of the new academic year.
The programme embodies the philosophy of "Dubai- it ," which is based on learning by doing and turning ideas into action, through an interactive experience combining learning and leadership, contributing to developing participants' capabilities and enhancing their readiness for the future.
A number of the Authority's employees' children, ranging from 11 to 17 years old, took part in the programme, engaging in a series of hands-on interactive activities and experiences designed to build self-confidence, develop leadership skills, and instill the values of initiative and teamwork, alongside encouraging creativity and making a positive, tangible impact in their surroundings.
Aisha Al Kharousi, Head of the Development and Empowerment Section at Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, stated, "At Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, we believe that investing in people begins with investing in young generations, and that supporting our employees' children is part of our responsibility toward the future. The 'Dubai Actions Youth' program embodies the spirit of initiative that underpins the 'Dubai Actions' philosophy, giving participants the opportunity to discover their capabilities and turn their ideas into tangible actions, in an experience that brings together knowledge, leadership, and teamwork. We look forward to these initiatives contributing to preparing a generation with a spirit of initiative and ambition, capable of creating impact rather than waiting for it, and contributing to Dubai's development journey."
The programme concluded with a series of activities that reflected participants' engagement and enthusiasm, and their ability to turn what they had learned into real actions, enhancing their readiness for the upcoming academic stage and motivating them to continue learning and making a positive impact in their community — in line with the "Dubai Actions" philosophy, which makes "action" a shared language of communication and development.
