CAPITALS, 18th September, 2026 (WAM) -- Gold edged higher on Friday, supported by lower oil prices and a subdued US dollar.
Spot gold rose 0.3 percent to US$4,352.60 per ounce as of 00:50 GMT, while US gold futures for December delivery fell 0.2 percent to US$4,391.60.
Among other precious metals, spot silver rose 0.7 percent to US$65.64 per ounce, platinum gained 0.9 percent to US$1,785.55, and palladium added 0.1 percent to US$1,292.47.
