Al Mabhouh was drugged, suffocated before his murder: Dubai Police
WAM DUBAI, Feb 28th, 2010 (WAM)--The General Headquarters of Dubai police, said the forensic tests have shown the murdered Hamas Commander Mahmoud Al Mabhouh was drugged and then suffocated in his hotel room in Dubai.

Police officials said at a press conference attended here today by Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Deputy Commander of Dubai police, that the forensic report showed a substantial amount of a fast-acting muscle relaxant called succinylcholine was found in the thigh of Al Mabhouh.

The analysis was part of tests conducted by Dubai Police's forensic laboratory after Al Mabhouh was killed January 19. Succinylcholine is sometimes used in the administration of a breathing tube or anesthesia.
