President receives credentials from 13 ambassadors
WAM Abu Dhabi, Dec 20th, 2010 (WAM) -- President HH Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan received today credentials of thirteen ambassadors sent to the UAE by Arab and friendly countries.

At a special ceremony held at the Mushrif Palace this afternoon, the President received credentials from Ambassador of S. Korea Dr. Kwon Tae Kyun, Ambassador of Libya Omar Mansour Mohammed Ghannai, Ambassador of Iran Dr. Mohammed Redha Faidh Baksh, Ambassador of Afghanistan Dr. Najibullah Mehdi, Ambassador of Swaziland Ephraim Mandela Hlobi, Ambassador of Sweden Magnus Scholdtz, Ambassador of Albania Behar Bejko, Ambassador of Denmark Poul Hoiness, Ambassador of Italy Giorgio starace, Ambassador of Netherlands Gerard Micheles, Ambassador of Ukraine Yuriy P, Ambassador of Pakistan Jameel Ahmed Khan and Ambassador of Jordan Naif Fantoul Al-Zaidan.

The President welcomed the new ambassadors to UAE and wished them success in their mission for developing bilateral relations between UAE and their respective countries.

The President also stressed the keenness of UAE in building distinctive relations with fraternal and friendly countries.

He reiterated the UAE's paramount interest in extending bridges of friendship and cooperation with other nations, propagating religious tolerance, supporting dialogue between civilizations and upholding noble human values.

The ceremony was attended by a number of Sheikhs and senior state officials.
