DEWA to organise Excellence Camp for staff in preparation for 19th Dubai Government Excellence Programme

DUBAI, 2nd September, 2015 (WAM) -- Dubai Electricity and Water Authority, DEWA, is organising an Excellence Camp for its employees to train and equip candidates for the 19th Dubai Government Excellence Programme, DGEP, Award. The camp, which is part of DEWA’s preparations to take part in DGEP 2016, supports its corporate vision to consolidate excellence among its staff.

Being held in two phases, the camp provides an ideal environment for candidates to prepare them for the DGEP 2016. Excellence experts from DEWA’s Corporate Excellence department will oversee the training programme at the camp.

During the camp, research and reports that were assigned to staff in preparation for the DGEP Award, will be studied and evaluated. The award is organised by DGEP, which is part of the Secretariat General of the Dubai Executive Council.

DEWA’s first Excellence Camp will be held from 6th-9th September. The second camp will be held from 13th-16th September in Raffles hotel, Dubai. The two camps will host 165 staff from different divisions.
