ABU DHABI, 8th April, 2019 (WAM) – A two-day specialised conference titled PestWorld East 2019, that will address pest management challenges specific to the UAE, will kick off tomorrow, 9th April, 2019, at the St. Regis Abu Dhabi.
Organised by Abu Dhabi Waste Management Centre (Tadweer) in collaboration with the National Pest Management Association, and Ecovar Group, a provider of sustainable pest control solutions, the conference will feature key speakers including Dr Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of Climate Change and Environment.
Being held for the first time in Abu Dhabi, the event will attract leading pest control experts from the country and abroad. It will facilitate the exchange of knowledge on a range of topics related to sustainable pest control, as well as networking with specialists from leading global universities and research centres with the aim of improving the efficiency of pest control operations.
Following an opening address by Dr. Al Zeyoudi, Dominique Stumpf, CAE, CEO, National Pest Management Association, Virginia, USA and Hani Shehadeh, CEO, Ecovar, Dubai, will also address the attendees.
Tadweer will leverage the platform to highlight its advanced pest control services. At an exhibition held on the sidelines of the conference, it will display its latest innovations and equipment used for the detection and control of breeding sites.
