ABU DHABI, 2nd November, 2022 (WAM) – In celebration of the biography and giving of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union (GWU), President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, the Global Inspiration Platform " Zayed The Inspirer" posted a video that showcases the achievements of the ‘’Mother of the Nation'' in inspiring women in the UAE, regionally and globally.
The video is a follow-up to a series of inspiring stories presented by the platform on its social media accounts, launched by Lt. General H.H. Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior.
The video shows the insightful journey of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, wife of the late founding leader, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. She was his partner and his stalwart support during his journey of achievements.
Sheikha Fatiima is also considered the pioneer of women's empowerment and humanitarian work in the country and abroad, and the first supporter of woman and the advancement of her role in society.
H.H. founded many women's associations and institutions in the UAE and spearheaded their development efforts.
Sheikha Fatima also launched several awards aimed at developing the community, family and children as well as empowering women
Sheikha Fatima has been honoured with more than 800 awards and medals in recognition of her great humanitarian and social work on both local and global levels
