DCCI receives Polish Commercial Delegation
Dubai, 9 April, 2006 (WAM)---DCCI received a Polish Delegation which visits the Chamber on the margin of Dubai International Humanitarian Aid and Development Conference and Exhibition DIHAD 2006 that will be launched on 10th of April, under the auspices of H. H. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Vice President, Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai.
Sultan Majed Lootah the Acting Director of Business Promotion Department at DCCI received the delegation, he briefed them on the chamber's activities. He explained that the number of the members is increasing since it was established in 1965. And it established 18 business groups that work under DCCI umbrella.
Head of the delegation Agnieszka Salamonczyk event manager Foreign Relation Department explained the aim of the visit that comes on DIHAD 2006 margin. She indicated that the delegation consist companies majored in supplying Aid items.
The companies aim to understand the laws in Dubai and UAE on establishing a trade activity and the opportunities available especially in the logistics services sector.
The meeting demonstrated the countenance of economic development in Dubai, and DCCI role in enhancing the growth and dynamic performance of the emirate by supporting the investors and businessmen in Dubai and facilitating their business.
The meeting showcased Dubai active role in importing, exporting, and re-exporting to GCC countries, Indian sub-continent and the CIS countries that consist of about 2 billions inhabitants.
