Mohammed bin Zayed receives South Korean President

ABU DHABI, 20th May 2014 (WAM) -- His Highness General Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces on Tuesday at Emirates Palace has received South Korean President Park Geun-hye and members of the delegation accompanying her on a current visit to U.A.E.

H.H. the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi expressed his delight at the South Korean President's visit which reflects the strength of relations between the two countries.

H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed expressed to President Geun-hye U.A.E.'s renewed condolences for the victims of the disaster of the Sewol-ho ferry which sank last month.

On her part, the South Korean president expressed her delight at visiting U.A.E. in response to the invitation of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. She also commended the warm welcome and hospitality accorded to her and members of the delegation accompanying her.

The South Korean president also expressed her thanks to U.A.E. and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed for offering condolences and sympathies over the Sewol-ho ferry disaster, which alleviated the plight of the sad incident and showed the strength of the relations between the two countries and their peoples.
