Yemenis will reject Iranian experience, says Yemeni President

RIYADH, 17th August, 2017 (WAM) -- Yemeni President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi said that the Iranian experience in his country had failed and it would be rejected by his people.

During a meeting in Riyadh today, in the presence of Yemeni Vice President Ali Mohsen Saleh, Prime Minister Ahmed Obeid Bin Dagher, Presidential Advisor Rashad Al-Alimi and Governor of Aden Abdul Aziz Al-Maflhi, he said that a victory over the coup militia was looming. They would be defeated, and the state institutions would be retrieved, he added.

According to the Yemeni News Agency, the Yemeni President emphasised that the outcome of the national dialogue and the building of a federal Yemen, based on partnership, justice and equality, was the will of the Yemeni people.

He pointed out that the coup militia had continued to reject the peace calls based on the three references.

Concerning the situation in Aden, Hadi stressed that the interim capital was witnessing a marked improvement in all sectors, such as relief work and reconstruction of the ruins caused by the war waged by the militias on the cities of the province.
