RIYADH, 22nd August, 2017 (WAM) -- The Saudi Supreme Court announced in a statement here on Tuesday night that Wednesday will be the first day of the month of Zul-Hijjah.

Accordingly, the attendance at the Mount of Arafat, the peak and main pillar of Hajj ritual, falls on Thursday the 9th day of Zul-Hijjah, corresponding to 31st August and Eid Al Adha will fall the next day following Arafat Day corresponding to 1st September.
