Mohamed bin Zayed receives Japan's Foreign Affairs Minister

ABU DHABI, 10th December, 2017 (WAM) -- His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received today Japan's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Taro Kono.

Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed welcomed Minister Kono and his accompanying delegation, and discussed means to enhance the friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed means to boost bilateral ties to serve the common interests of the two friendly nations across various fields, especially in the trade and investment, and education. They also reviewed a number of regional and international issues of mutual concern.

Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of the Executive Affairs Authority; Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Crown Prince's Court of Abu Dhabi; Kanji Fujiki, Ambassador of Japan to the UAE, and Hiroshi Oka, Director-General of the Middle Eastern and African Affairs Bureau at Japan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also attended the meeting.
