Minister of State for Defence meets Chinese delegation

ABU DHABI, 23rd May, 2018 (WAM) -- Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Bowardi, Minister of State for Defence Affairs, today met with a Chinese delegation from the State Administration for Science, Technology and Industry for National Defence, SASTIND.

During the meeting, Al Bowardi welcomed the SASTIND delegation and expressed his happiness with the exchange of visits between the two countries' officials, which will contribute to enhancing friendly relations and cooperation and serve their common interests.

They also exchanged views on a number of issues of common interest.

Matar Salim Ali Al Dhaheri, Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Defence, Major General Staff Pilot. Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defence, as well as senior officials and officers from the Ministry of Defence, also attended the meeting.
