Ministry of Defence receives Executive Director of International Institute for Strategic Studies

ABU DHABI, 2nd July, 2018 (WAM) -- Major General Pilot Falah Mohammed Al Qahtani, Assistant Under-Secretary of the Ministry of Defence for Policies and Strategic Affairs, today received in his office, Retired Lt. General Thomas Pickett, Executive Director of the International Institute for Strategic Studies, who is currently visiting the UAE.

During the meeting, they discussed the cooperation and friendship between the UAE and the UK and ways of promoting and developing them.

The two parties also discussed various regional and international issues and topics of mutual concern, as well as current regional developments, especially those related to the mutual efforts and coordination between the two countries.

The meeting was attended by senior officers and officials from the ministry.
