Laboratory facilities at Al Jalila Children’s Hospital meet highest international quality standards

ABU DHABI, 2nd October, 2018 (WAM) -- The medical laboratory at Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital – the UAE’s only children’s hospital – has been successfully accreditation by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), one of the global leaders in laboratory quality assurance and accreditation. This onsite laboratory is operated in cooperation with National Reference Laboratory (NRL), and delivers specialised diagnostic services that inform treatment plans and improve outcomes for the hospital’s important pediatric patients.

Al Jalila Children’s laboratory is the ninth in National Reference Laboratory’s network of laboratories to receive the CAP’s world-renowned accreditation, reinforcing NRL’s position as the largest network of CAP-accredited laboratories in the Middle East.
