Abdullah bin Zayed receives President of Middle East Policy Council

ABU DHABI, 29th April, 2019 (WAM) -- H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, today received Ambassador Richard J. Schmierer, Chairman of the Board of Directors and President of the Middle East Policy Council and discussed an array of issues of common interest, including the situation in Yemen and Syria.

H.H. Sheikh Abdullah hailed the contributions made by the Council in organising conferences and preparing in-depth research papers and studies on various issues of relevance to the Middle East region.

Ambassador Richard lauded the role played by the UAE in promoting international peace and security as well as the prestigious status enjoyed by the country on the international stage and the ambitious developmental drive ongoing on various domains thanks to the prudent vision adopted by the UAE leadership.
