NEW DELHI, 17th January, 2022 (WAM) -- India saw a 258,089 rise in COVID-19 infections in the past 24 hours, taking the tally to 37.38 million.
According to the health ministry, the death toll in the country reached 486,451 with 385 new fatalities recorded.
