DUBAI, 1st March, 2022 (WAM) -- Sarah bint Yousif Al Amiri, Minister of State for Advanced Technology, highlighted the importance of advanced technology and the fourth industrial revolution (4IR) to promote economic diversification.
This came during her speech during the fourth session of the 'Let's Talk' initiative, held by Dubai Police General Command at Expo 2020 Dubai's DP World Pavilion.
Al Amiri opened her speech by appraising Dubai Police's efforts to adopt digital, technological and smart solutions to offer UAE's citizens outstanding services and ensure their happiness.
She also discussed the Champions 4.0 Network, the first-of-its-kind programme, launched by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology in response to the government's 4IR Strategy.
Dubai Police launched the initiative to create a platform and free space to communicate with the public through a series of lectures held monthly throughout the Expo 2020 Dubai period.
The Minister's speech was witnessed by Major General Ahmed Mohammed Rafie, Assistant Commander-in-Chief for Administration Affairs, Major General Ali Al Shamali, Director of the General Department of Punitive and Correctional Institutions, and other senior officers.
Toward the end of the session, Maj. Gen. Rafie presented Al Amiri with a memorial shield to express the force's appreciation for her efforts and participation in the initiative.
