SANTIAGO, 27th November, 2022 (WAM) -- A magnitude 5.6 earthquake struck today western Chile, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).
In a statement, USGS said that the epicentre of the quake was located on one of the Chilean islands in the southeastern Pacific Ocean, at a depth of 10 kilometres.
There have been no reports so far of human or material losses due to the earthquake, it added.
