EDGE signs MoU with BAE Systems to strengthen collaboration in cyber and secure communications

ABU DHABI, 22nd February, 2023 (WAM) – EDGE, one of the world’s leading advanced technology groups, and BAE Systems, a provider of advanced, technology-led defence and security solutions, have announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2023).

The MoU outlines that EDGE and BAE Systems Digital Intelligence will collaborate to explore opportunities for increased situational awareness capabilities of KATIM's secure devices by leveraging GXP Fusion software solution. The two companies will also work together to identify potential markets for the KATIM Gateway network encryption solution and enhance cyber technologies, such as BEACON RED's Range on Wheels (ROW) cyber range and testing platform.

This agreement highlights the shared commitment of EDGE and BAE Systems to leverage their technological expertise and advance cybersecurity solutions to meet the evolving needs of the defence and security industry.
