Trois Américains reçoivent le prix Nobel d'économie pour leurs études sur " la formation des institutions et leur impact sur la prospérité "

STOCKHOLM, 14 October 2024 (WAM) - The Royal Swedish Academy today announced that three American economists have won the 2024 Nobel Prize in Economics.

The award went to Daron Acemoğlu, of Turkish origin, and Simon Johnson and James Robinson, both of British origin, for their research on inequality in the distribution of wealth between countries.

Announcing the winners in the Swedish capital, the Nobel Academy said the trio had been awarded the prize "for their studies of how institutions are shaped and their impact on prosperity ".
